Early in Valorant’s beta era, the squad established itself as the region’s leading contender, sweeping every event they entered in 2020. They also won Riot Games’ First Strike Korea tournament, which was at the time the biggest regional event.
They appeared unstoppable heading into 2021, with a 104-game winning streak setting new records.
During the VCT 2021 season, Vision Strikers continued to dominate in Korea, but they struggled to match that success at international events. They finished 5th-8th at Masters Berlin, losing 1-2 in the quarterfinals against Gambit Esports. In Valorant Champions, the powerhouse squad ended 9th-12th, losing 1-2 to Cloud9 in the group round.Vision Strikers and its parent firm were purchased by DRX in January, and they began 2022 under a new banner.

In June 2020, DRX Esports announced their VALORANT roster, stax, glow, Rb, k1Ng, Zest, Lakia and Efina joined with Argency and termi as coaches. In the coming time they made very few changes and stuck to their original roster as they dominated the Korean Valorant. On 7th January 2022, Vision Strikers was acquired by DRX. Just before the VCT 2022 season, the team decided to make a change and parted company with Kim “Lakia” Jong-min and Lee “k1Ng” Seung-won.
