In the last episode of Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta eliminates Magetta, and the Young Saiyan from Universe 6 is revealed as his next opponent, but Many Dragon Ball fans don’t watch this series on Cartoon Network because of time issues. So I will be making the Overview of all episodes one by one and in this article, I am continuing from the 37th episode of Dragon Ball Super.
Vados and Whis fix the stage that was destroyed during Vegeta and Magetta’s battle. With the arena renewed, the Gods of Destruction Martial Arts Tournament may now continue. Whis and Vados ask if they should restore the aerial out-of-bounds barrier, too, but Champa and Beerus agree to just get rid of it.
Vegeta and his Universe 6 Saiyan opponent approach the fighting stage. Old Kai remarks that the Universe 6 Saiyan looks like a fine young man. The Kais of Universe 6 tells Old Kai that the Universe 6 Saiyans are Heroes of Justice.

Although the match is about to start, we see that Goku’s attention is focused on Hit. Goku is very curious about Hit’s strength, and it is stirring up his Saiyan instincts. Back on the fighting stage, the match between the two Saiyans begins. Cabba attacks Vegeta, and Vegeta is caught off guard by Cabba’s speed. Vegeta almost takes a kick to the face from Cabba but is able to evade it at the last moment. After evading several more strikes, Vegeta takes a blow to the stomach from Cabba.
Then, Vegeta gets a little more serious and begins blocking Cabba’s strikes. Then Vegeta lands a front kick to Cabba’s jaw, which sends the Universe 6 Saiyan flying backwards.
Now, Cabba begins to power up an attack that appears to be very familiar. It’s similar to Vegeta’s Galick Gun, and Vegeta immediately notices this and retaliates with his own Galick Gun attack. Vegeta remarks that he and Cabba are equally matched in their base forms. Vegeta says it is time to get serious, and commands Cabba to transform into a Super Saiyan. Cabba responds that he does not know how, and pleads with Vegeta to teach him. He tells Vegeta he wants the ability so he can protect his family on his home planet of Sadala.
Vegeta transforms, and immediately rushes forward, thrusting his fist into Cabba’s stomach. Then Vegeta follows up with a flurry of blows, easily overwhelming Cabba. Vegeta continues to pummel Cabba.
Vegeta powers up a ki blast and tells Cabba that when the match is over, he will go to Planet Sadala and destroy it, along with the rest of Cabba’s family. Suddenly, Cabba hits Vegeta’s hand away, and when we see him next, his body is glowing the familiar yellow glow of a Super Saiyan.
Now, Cabba’s hair turns yellow, and his pupils turn blue. He has transformed into a Super Saiyan.
Cabba attacks Vegeta head-on. Vegeta catches Cabba’s punches, but he is being pushed back and his knees are turning inwards with weakness. Vegeta is clearly surprised by how much strength Cabba has gained. Piccolo confirms that Vegeta is being overpowered. Now Cabba begins to rain down ki blasts from above, not even giving Vegeta a chance to gain a shred of composure.
Cabba descends to the fighting stage and throws a punch directly at Vegeta’s forehead. Vegeta takes the blow and smiles. He tells Cabba never to forget the feeling he had when he transformed. Cabba, confused, realizes Vegeta didn’t mean what he said about destroying Planet Sadala and was just trying to teach him how to become a Super Saiyan. Making this realization, Cabba reverts to his base form. Vegeta tells Cabba that the trigger to transform is anger.
Vegeta commands Cabba to become a Super Saiyan again. Cabba does so successfully. Then, Vegeta shows Cabba his Super Saiyan Blue transformation. Cabba is mesmerized, and Vegeta tells him that he has the potential to become one, too, if he continues to train. Then, with a single punch, Vegeta ends the match.
Vegeta reprimands Cabba for bowing to him during a match and tells Cabba never to forget his Saiyan pride. Vegeta tells Cabba that his goal should be to surpass him. With a smile on his face, Vegeta adds that he will never let it happen. As Vegeta leaves the fighting stage, Cabba tells him that he is similar to the King of Planet Sadala, who is a proud and strong man. Vegeta tells Cabba he would like to meet him one day.
The last fighter of Universe 6, Hit, descends to the fighting stage to challenge Vegeta. Vados reveals to Champa that she had promised Hit a Cube vehicle if he wins the tournament. Champa, who apparently did not know this, freaks out. Vados reminds Champa she was told to use any means necessary to get Hit to participate. The episode ends with Vegeta and Hit squaring off on the fighting stage, ready to begin their match.
