Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) releases his 2.0 update that’s provided players an abundance of new content and features. From the official release of the Livik map to the inclusion of emergency pickups in other classic style variants and balancing shotguns, the patch has covered a range of bases to deliver an enjoyable experience. The new version became available for download on 13 May 2022, and gamers can download it directly from their respective stores. The BGMI 2.0 update is now available for all users. Gamers can follow the steps mentioned below to download or update to the latest version from the official website.

Step 1: Players can open the Battlegrounds Mobile India website on the web browser of their choice. They can avail this link to go directly to the page.
Step 2: After landing on the said webpage, they will get download buttons for Android and iOS platforms. They can directly redirect themselves to their respective store by clicking on the respective button.
Step 3: Once users are redirected to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, they can download or update to the latest version.
The update size is between 300 and 400 MB. However, this number may change depending on the players and the equipment being used. Hence, users must ensure that there is sufficient storage space available on the device.
Step 4: After this, gamers can open and enjoy the new features added in the latest iteration of the game.

When entering the 2.0.0 update version for the first time on a device using Android 12 version, error message ‘Unknown error. Please restart the device and try again. Error code: 3’ pops up and if touched ‘Try Again’, resource gets restored, but need to download additional resources.
When downloading done the additional resources, you can access the game normally. But as the additional resource files are big, for those who are using a device with Android 12 version, please install in a wi-fi environment and not with mobile data.
After getting into the lobby, additional resources like maps need to be downloaded. Please maintain the wi-fi environment until all resources are downloaded.
Go to Settings of your device > About Phone > Software information > check if Android version is 12
Developers have warned BGMI players when entering the 2.0. Update on devices using Android 12 version they will encounter an error and when the player clicks to try again, the resources are restored.
Gamers will once again have to download new resources. After the download is complete, players can usually play the battle royale title.
