Going into WrestleMania Backlash, The Bloodline and RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre came face to face to build up speed towards their clash. This was The Bloodline's final chance to balance the power.
This week’s SmackDown took place in Long Island, New York and the fans were thrilled to see the blue brand back in the city. Roman Reigns and The Usos have been intent on getting their hands on the RAW tag team titles to unify them and declare supremacy over the WWE. Going into WrestleMania Backlash, The Bloodline and RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre came face to face to build up speed towards their clash and this was The Bloodline’s final chance to balance the power in the lead-up to Sunday’s main event six-man tag team match. Also featured on SmackDown was The New day taking on Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a tables match and Shinsuke Nakamura returning to singles action.
Charlotte Flair opened the show and brawled with Ronda Rousey. The two women had to be separated by producers and WWE personnel but Shawn Davari ate a boot for his troubles.
The Usos hyped themselves up during a backstage interview. RK-Bro were interviewed backstage. Riddle was somewhat confused as Randy Orton stated that they are a superior team to The Usos
Madcap Moss roasted Happy Corbin and made fun of his hair and called him a second grade Pitbull and a hairless wolf.
Shinsuke Nakamura was interviewed backstage. He promised to one day get vengeance on Roman Reigns for assaulting him weeks ago. Sami Zayn was spotted poking his head out of the corner.

Riddle played the role of peacemaker between Orton and McIntyre who buried the hatchet after their WWE championship rivalry two years ago. The three repeatedly made fun of Reigns’ “acknowledge me” catchphrase much to the delight of the crowd. Reigns and The Usos came out and were seething from the inside. They entered the ring, squared off with their rivals and the brawl commenced. The Bloodline got the better of the exchange early, tossing Orton and Riddle from the ring before zeroing in on McIntyre. Riddle and Orton made the save before The Bloodline could follow through with the three-on-one assault. Riddle and Orton struck The Usos with an RKO each and McIntyre closed out the show with a Claymore on Reigns.
