Kofi Kingston redeemed himself against Madcap Moss on Friday night WWE SmackDown after a loss last week. Happy Corbin and former WWE champion and RAW star Big E, were incidentally, on the ringside during the match. However, Kingston displayed his supremacy by fighting underneath following a commercial break, as he rocked his familiar foe with a jawbreaker. Moss who was wearing suspenders attacked the former champion with snipebuster but failed to go to make a comeback. Kingston was able to put Moss down with Trouble in Paradise for the pinfall victory.

The encounter between Kingston and Moss turned out to be within limits and control. It was a watchable affair and kept all four competitors engaged during the time. However, the segment did not turned out to be as positive as anticipated, with the two former World Champions and Corbin.

Grade: C

Kingston, meanwhile, captured his WWE World Championship belt at the WrestleMania 35 for the first time in 11 years and enthralled the fans with his long-run with the title. His run, however, came to an end after dropping the belt to Brock Lesnar in less than 10 seconds during a special edition of SmackDown in October 2019. Kingston then moved on to a new settlement with the tag team and never made a run for the World Championships.
