WWE Rumors: John Cena To Face Austin Theory At WrestleMania 39

Following various reports suggesting that John Cena will face off against WWE RAW star Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39, the 16-time World Champion’s potential opponent has spoken out about the match. This theory makes it very clear that he grew up as a die-hard John Cena fan, but since he started carving his own way in WWE, he’s said he needs to take out his childhood idol before he can go. “John is GOAT. John is the best. John is amazing. And, you know, I’m really just a footnote to his career. John has inspired so many talents over the years. On the one hand, for me, John has been a huge influence on what I do. I got a lot of inspiration from John. I learned a lot in the ring with John. I learned a lot watching John backstage. John is still a mentor to me, even though he doesn’t hang out with Sami Zayn often.”
