This segment was canceled as the awards ceremony centered around Roman Reigns and each generation’s Bloodline was announced for the upcoming WWE Raw XXX. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Raw XXX will now feature The Trial of Sami Zayn instead. Previously, the awards ceremony was slated to feature Afa, Shika, Rikishi, and Sam, but many fans speculated that the segment could also be used to prepare for Reigns’ The Rock at WrestleMania 39. This latest development comes right after the Rock vs. Roman battle. It looks like it was off the table yesterday as it was reported that the big man’s hectic schedule prevented him from getting into ring form in time to fight the tribal chief. this April. As for The Trial of Sami Zayn, this is meant to be a follow-up to last Friday’s SmackDown, which kept things frozen in the ever-evolving relationship between Roman Reigns and Sami. Zayn will appear in Tribal Court in Philadelphia next Monday as tensions build within the bloodline ahead of Roman’s undisputed WWE Universal Championship defense against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble. After PWInsider broke the news, WWE moved to confirm this change to his Raw XXX.

In addition to the tribal court, there will be a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley. Usos will defend the “Raw” Tag Team Title against Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest, and Austin Theory will defend the WWE United States Championship against Bobby Lashley. Over the past few months, The Bloodline led by Reigns, WWE Tag Team Champion The Usos, their brother Solo Sikoa, “Honorary Uce” Sami Zayn, and Special Advisor Paul Heyman have dominated much of the WWE programming. Hours after PWInsider reported the segment change, WWE announced that The Bloodline would be holding a tribal trial for Sami Zayn at “Raw Is XXX.” Honor Uce is in trouble because of what happened during the January 20 episode of “WWE SmackDown”.

On Friday’s episode, Reigns and Kevin Owens signed on for their Royal Rumble title match. The signing ended with Owens attacking every member of The Bloodline except Zayn. Jey Uso is thrown into the barricade, his brother Jey is hit by a supercharge and thrown onto the steps, Solo Sikoa is thrown out of the ring, and Reigns finds himself across a table. Zayn, on the other hand, was left in the contract.

The match between Lesnar and Angle was the culmination of his month-long storyline that began in late 2002 with the formation of the team His Angle. With his new manager Paul Heyman and amateur wrestler standouts Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, Team Angle formed to help the WWE Champion retain his title. According to Angle, Haas and Benjamin won the WWE Tag Team Championship in early 2003 and their play was top of the line for the long term.
