A week after making an unexpected comeback and attacking Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch addressed her new foe and WWE Hall of Famer on the Raw stage. The Man’s message to the crowd was one of the main events of the May 15 telecast, which also included Cody Rhodes’ response to Brock Lesnar’s horrific beating of him and a battle royal to choose the top challenger for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.
WWE RAW started with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn getting into the squared circle. Kevin Owens is weary of talking and wants to fight, which was very obvious during Raw’s opening segment. Then WWE saw Mustafa Ali getting crowned as the No. 1 contender to face GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship as he won a 15-man battle royale eliminating, Ricochet and Bronson Reed simultaneously.
Then the WWE universe saw Becky Lynch addressing Trish Stratus and how she backstabbed her, making it certain both the woman are definitely to square off at The Night of Champions. With Rhea Ripley having no opponent to face at Night of Champions, WWE is bringing Natalya into the championship frame as she confronted the SmackDown Woman’s champion backstage. Later, Dominik Mysterio had a cheap win against Xavier Woods with the help of Rhea Ripley.
WWE saw Jinder Mahal‘s return to the main roster along with Veer and Shanga. WWE set a couple of jobbers to show how strong the Indus Sher was. Then came the moment the whole WWE universe was waiting for. Cody Rhodes came to the ring and accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge to fight at Night of Champions.
Then came Raquel Rodriguez whose match was fixed with Chelsea Green backstage. Raquel Rodriguez had to overcome the numerical deficit that existed around ringside when she overcame Chelsea Green despite the presence of Sonya Deville, but she finally lost to a sneak assault by the returning Ronda Rousey and Shaya Baszler without the support of Liv Morgan.

Corey Graves sat down with Seth Rollins 12 days before his World Heavyweight Championship Tournament final against AJ Styles. Rollins discussed The Shield’s split, the organic nature of his last run, and his current connection with fans. The conversation then shifted to Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, before concluding on a cliffhanger with a preview for Part 2 on next week’s episode.
After Rollins’ interview, it was time for the night’s main event – Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Judgement Day’s Damien Priest and Finn Balor.
