The Miz and AJ Styles started off a feud which looks like it might go on for some time. John Cena came out and thanked the fans and addressed his future in what was a very emotional promo. WWE RAW results in detail

Money in the Bank Qualifier Battle Royal

RAW kicked off in style with a Last Chance Money in the Bank qualifier. It was a Battle Royal that featured some of the top stars from the RAW roster such as Riddle, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, AJ Styles etc. Tozawa was eliminated first and the match got into a good rhythm after that. In the end, it came down to AJ Styles and Riddle but The Miz, who fooled everyone that he had injured his leg came back inside and eliminated Styles. The Miz and Riddle then went at it and after a while, Riddle hit an RKO on the apron to throw out the A-Lister and get the win.

Winner: Riddle

Jey Uso vs Montez Ford

Jey Uso and Montez Ford met in a singles match before their tag team match on Sunday. The two men are known to be great workers in the ring and have wrestled each other quite a bit over the last couple of months, so they each other well and the match was a good one. Dawkins and Jimmy were at ringside and provided good distractions. Ford then went for the juggernaut as he hit Jey with a crazy suicide dive and a massive frog splash for the win.

Win: Montez Ford

The Miz vs AJ Styles

AJ Styles attacked The Miz during an interview for eliminating him during the Battle Royal from earlier on in the show. AJ was visibly frustrated over the way he was dumped out and was intent on teaching The Miz a lesson. Both men got into a match and had a good one as each one hit the other with strike after strike although AJ was the aggressor. Being the wily customer that he is, The Miz did not want any part of this match and counted himself out on purpose giving Styles the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

Alexa Bliss vs Liv Morgan

Bliss and Morgan have been going at each other ever since they qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank match with each one confident in their own ability to win the briefcase. They had a decent match as both women were trying to be nice to each other and the friendship angle played off well. However, Morgan was able to get the win without any cheating or interference in what was a good match before the MITB event.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Bobby Lashley vs Alpha Academy

Bobby Lashley took on the Alpha Academy in a handicap match with Theory as the special guest enforcer. Otis started off while Gable was up to his usual shenanigans. When Theory was distracting, Gable took the opportunity to take hit Lashley with a senton before Otis hit his own senton to flatten Lashley a bit more. The three men did a good job but unsurprisingly, Lashley took the win.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier

In the main event of the night, six women took on each other in their quest to qualify for the Money in the Bank match. Xia Li, Tamina, Doudrop, Becky Lynch, Nikki A.S.H. and Shayna Baszler were all involved. Lynch eliminated Li first and then took out Nikki A.S.H. Once Tamina got eliminated, Becky was able to get the win over Doudrop to earn her spot at MITB.

Winner: Becky Lynch
