This week’s WWE RAW was a very interesting one, to say the least. There were reports coming out that Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the show, something that we never, ever see. There was also this small affair of a Steel Cage match between Bobby Lashley and Omos. Veer Mahan made his presence felt once again, AJ Styles and Finn Balor continued their interesting alliance and Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins agreed to go head to head one more time. In this article, we will take a look at all the happenings on Monday Night RAW.

RAW results in detail

Bobby Lashley vs Omos

Omos and MVP came out and cut a promo from inside the cage before Lashley came out who then got attacked by Cedric Alexander. Omos joined in until several officials ran down to break it up. Once the match started, Omos took control and began to ragdoll Lashley. Alexander came back out and tried to stop Lashley from leaving the cage, but he ended up being pulled in and thrown down. Omon then picked up Lashley and threw him through the wall of the cage, allowing Lashley to touch the ground and win the match in the process.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Veer Mahan vs Mustafa Ali

Theory came out and revealed to Mustafa Ali that The Miz would be the special guest referee for his match against Veer Mahaan. Ali tried to go on the offensive but his speed was not enough to keep him out of Veer’s grasp. He eventually succumbed to Veer’s submission finisher. Theory then took a selfie with Veer as he held Ali in the hold. The Miz yelled at him, but only because he wanted to be in the picture. The Mysterios ran down and prevented Ali from being put through a table.

Riddle vs Jimmy Uso

The Usos and RK-Bro continued their feud this week. This time in singles competition between Jimmy Uso and Riddle. The two superstars went to and from and Riddle started to gain some momentum but Jimmy gave him a Samoan drop to stop him in his tracks. Then, the referee ejected Jey from ringside and that cleared the way for Riddle to score the win. The match had some good moments as both the wrestlers are known to be top athletes.

Los Lotharios vs AJ Styles & Finn Balor

Finn Balor and AJ Styles continued their alliance in a match against Los Lotharios. It was a great match which showcased a lot of technical wrestling from two of the best in the business, Balor and Styles. Los Lotharios used classic strategies to keep Styles at bay and the babyfaces made good use of the hot tag. Ultimately, Balor was able to pick up the win with the Coup de Grace.

Winner: AJ Styles & Finn Balor

Alexa Bliss vs Sonya Deville

Alexa and Sonya went head to head in a rematch of last week. Bliss got the win last time, so this was the perfect opportunity for Deville to get payback. Deville tried to push Bliss around at first, but the former women’s champion was able to hit a few moves of her own. After going to and fro, Alexa hit Deville with her signature for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Cody Rhodes cuts a promo

Cody came out and delivered another passionate promo and much of it was directed at Seth Rollins. He eventually challenged Seth to a match inside Hell in a Cell. The Visionary then appeared on the titantron and accepted the challenge, and Rhodes said he would see him in hell. This segment went on for a little longer than expected but Cody kept everyone’s attention and it worked to a tee.

Ezekiel vs Chad Gable

Chad Gable took on Ezekiel next as Kevin Owens joined the commentary team and continued to talk trash about Elias and Ezekiel. The two men however put on a decent match and had some very good moments. Ezekiel was able to score the win when he reversed a pinning combination. The match had a couple of hiccups towards the end, but most of what we saw here was good.

Winner: Ezekiel

Asuka vs Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch took on Asuka in the main event with the winner earning a shot at Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship. Earlier in the day, WWE released a statement saying Naomi and Sasha Banks had left the arena after refusing to compete. As soon as the match started, Becky and Asuka were at it. They quickly left the ring, and Lynch threw Asuka into the barricade. Asuka won the match by blowing green mist in Lynch’s face before hitting a big kick to the head for the pin.
