What was supposed to be King Of The Ring 2023 became Night Of Champions, and instead of the winner receiving a crown, we now have a battle between Seth Freakin’ Rollins and AJ Styles for the new World Heavyweight Championship. Every WWE fan is looking forward to seeing where WWE takes that bout, as well as the rest of the show.

Night of Champions would see 5 championship matches. Brock and Cody would fight each other whereas in the women’s division, Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus would face each other. So, till the match goes live nothing can be said as WWE is unpredictable most of the time. But, we would like to give predictions based on WWE history and how they plan the storylines and win.

WWE Night of Champions 2023 match card

  • AJ Styles Vs Seth Rollins – World Heavyweight Championship
  • Roman Reigns And Solo Sikoa Vs Sami Zayn And Kevin Owens – WWE Undisputed Tag-Team Championship
  • Gunther Vs Mustafa Ali -Intercontinental Championship
  • Bianca Belair Vs Asuka – WWE RAW Woman’s Championship
  • Rhea Ripley Vs Natalya – WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship
  • Cody Rhodes Vs Brock Lesnar
  • Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus

AJ Styles Vs Seth Rollins – World Heavyweight Championship

AJ Styles and Seth Rollins both the men are already in their own league when it comes to the ring IQ. Nobody comes close to both the guys. But now at Night of Champions, both the superstars are set to face each other for the NEW WORD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.

Who will win?

So, If we have to guess then we are going with AJ Styles. Many would not agree I know. So, AJ Styles because, he is definitely going to retire this year, or if not this year but next year for sure. With his injury-prone body, it is already getting too dangerous for “The Phenomenal One” to get in the ring. So, it would be a good opportunity for WWE to give “The Phenomenal One” what he deserves. Also, WWE would want to re-ignite the rivalry between the SHIELD brothers – Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. So, for this to happen Seth Rollins will have to come to the blue brand and it is only happening if AJ Styles take the gold at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Predicted Winner: AJ Styles

Roman Reigns And Solo Sikoa Vs Sami Zayn And Kevin Owens – WWE Undisputed Tag-Team Championship

Finally, Roman Reigns is going to face both his enemies at Night of Champion PPV. He would want to prove his worth as “The Tribal Chief” by dethroning Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens as the WWE Undisputed tag-team champions. But with vengeance burning deep in Zayn and Owens, it would be interesting to see who’d pick up the win.

Who will win?

First of all, Roman Reigns has been undefeated for almost 3 years now, and with him already having the WWE undisputed championship, WWE may not give him the tag-team championships to Reigns as it might affect what WWE planned to build for years. So, it is a no-brainer. Owens and Zayn are going to steal the win out of the mouth of “The Head of the Table”. Also, with crack forming in The Bloodline, it is inevitable to stop the destruction and downfall coming for Roman Reigns.

Predicted Winner: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Gunther Vs Mustafa Ali -Intercontinental Championship

GUNTHER has been undefeated since his main roster debut and his next opponent is none other than Mustafa Ali. Ali got this opportunity after he won the Battle Royale to decide a No. 1 contender for the IC Champion. Now, it will be interesting to see, that will it be a squash match or if WWE plans it as a lengthy bout.

Who will win?

If we look at Mustafa Ali and how dominating GUNTHER has been for past years then it would be difficult to imagine him winning against GUNTHER. The situation is as if a man has to fight someone who is actually double the size of his own self. But, with WWE organizing the Night of Champions at Jeddah there is a big chance that WWE might get Mustafa Ali his first IC Championship win.

Predicted Winner: Mustafa Ali

Bianca Belair Vs Asuka – WWE RAW Woman’s Championship

WWE must take a long-term approach with Bianca Belair. She has now been booed at two straight premium live events, WrestleMania and Backlash, and while I believe she will be cheered today, I wouldn’t put a lot of money on it. That’s the problem. If someone is meant to be the yearly babyface champion, you’d think they’d get a standing ovation. They aren’t right now, not because she isn’t good, but because her character hasn’t had any interesting stories or meaningful growth in months. As a result, I predict Belair to lose her championship very soon but not at Night of Champions. Cause a heel change might occur, or Charlotte Flair might appear to reclaim what was rightly hers.

Predicted Winner: Bianca Belair

Rhea Ripley Vs Natalya – WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship

With all due respect to the freshly promoted Cameron Grimes, Rhea Ripley is the one on her way to the moon, and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if we were talking about her being the best female wrestler in the history of the company 10 years from now.

She has everything you’d want in a WWE superstar, and The Judgement Day, which has always had tremendous potential, feels even hotter now that Finn has taken out the rising Shinsuke Nakamura, Damian Priest is at an all-time high after his fantastic performance at Backlash, and Dominik Mysterio is still getting booed every time he tries to talk. So, without a doubt I would say, Ripley is going to win.

Predicted Winner: Rhea Ripley

Cody Rhodes Vs Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is one of the most formidable forces in WWE history, but his luster has begun to fade in the last year or two. He’s lost a number of important battles, and while he deserves credit for knocking people out, the ultimate consequence of all those losses has been a deterioration of his character. You can’t keep losing and still be The Beast, which is why I believe he’ll win today against Cody Rhodes, most likely by working the arm he hurt on Raw earlier this week.

At Backlash, the American Nightmare got the better of him. If Lesnar wins, they can fight again at SummerSlam or Money In The Bank before Brock returns to his farm for a few months of rest. He’d leave in such a way that fans would be pumped for his return, and Rhodes would achieve the biggest victories of his WWE career against an all-time icon.

Predicted winner: Brock Lesnar

Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch

Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch were buddies at the start of the year. In actuality, Stratus and Lynch worked with Lita to beat Damage CTRL members Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO Sky in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 39. Stratus saw that Becky was getting more attention than her a few days after the Showcase of Immortals.

The WWE Hall of Famer even felt that fans did not treat her with respect. As a result, Trish Stratus assaulted Lita, who was then co-holder of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with Becky Lynch. Following that, Stratus took Lita’s spot in the title battle, teaming up with Becky against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

The new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are Liv and Raquel, who defeated Becky and Trish. Trish lost her calm and assaulted Becky just before the program ended. Because of Trish’s assault, the Irish Superstar even missed a few episodes of RAW. But this week on RAW both the woman’s signed the contract to confirm their fight.

Who will win?

WWE would want to have a trilogy of fights between these two Superstars, with the following two bouts taking place at Money in the Bank and SummerSlam, based on the furious promos they’ve exchanged. Becky Lynch will have to lose for it to happen. She may not lose on purpose, but Trish Stratus winning is the most reasonable prediction.

Predicted Winner: Trish Stratus
