Wrestlemania 38 is just weeks away and many plans are set in motion. This time some reports are coming out and lots of new information regarding WWE Raw tag team titles are known. Until now it seemed The Alpha Academy was out from the race for their big Wrestlemania moment.
However, it appears as Chad Gable will finally get his WrestleMania moment this year. After assaulting RK-Bro and Street Profits last week, Gable and Otis’ Alpha Academy have been officially added to the Raw Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 38. The duo have swiftly established themselves as one of Raw’s most popular acts, with Gable’s antics carrying many segments and both the men’s wrestling ability giving them in-ring credibility.

In January, Alpha Academy won the Raw tag team belts, which they held until earlier this month, when they were defeated by RK-Bro in a fantastic triple threat tag bout including Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. An intriguing intellectual challenge between the Alphas and RK-Bro helped build up that tag battle.
RK-Bro was challenged by the Street Profits last week after regaining the WWE Raw tag team titles. The Street Profits beat Randy Orton and Riddle before reclaiming the belts. Last week’s onslaught by Gable & Otis was reportedly enough to have them included to the contest, despite the fact that their status as previous champions should have been more of a deciding factor.
If this bout is anything like the Raw tag match from a few weeks ago, it has the potential to steal the show: Gable’s in-ring prowess has lately been on show, Montez Ford is sure to pull off some outrageous manoeuvres that no human should be capable of, and Orton has somehow become WWE’s hottest hot tag guy in consecutive weeks.
