WWE Money in the Bank 2022 was an excellent pay-per-view that featured the best men and women the company had to offer. Bobby Lashley fought Austin Theory in a gruesome match for the WWE US title. Ronda Rousey beat Natalya to retain her title but Miss Money in the Bank didn’t let her embrace and feel the win as she cashed in against Rousey. Bianca Belair fought against Carmella for the RAW woman’s championship. The Usos successfully retained their titles and ended their losing streak against The Street Profits and cementing their reign and themselves as the best tag team.

Alexa Bliss vs Liv Morgan vs Asuka vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Lacey Evans vs Shotzi vs Becky Lynch – Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

In the opening Money in the Bank Ladder match of Saturday’s program, Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Shotzi, and Alexa Bliss engaged in combat. Morgan had the greatest success of her career when she stopped Lynch from stealing the prized briefcase. Big Time Becks was almost surely going to win what would have been another title reign, but The Riott Squad’s only survivor ended her difficult trip in opulent style.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Bobby Lashley vs Theory – United States Championship Match

The United States champion Theory defended against Bobby Lashley in a one-on-one match for the first time. The feud, which was characterized by pose-downs and bodies made of stone and baby oil, came to an end Saturday night in Las Vegas with a fight that was superior to what its pretensions may have implied. Theory withstood the No. 1 contender’s early assault to seize the initiative in the match. The teenage prodigy interrupted Lashley every time he tried to create a steady comeback. The Atlanta native’s dream match, however, came to an end as Lashley countered his finish and used the Hurt Lock to win via submission.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Bianca Belair vs Carmella – Raw Women’s Championship Match

On Saturday’s high-profile live event, Bianca Belair successfully defended the Raw Women’s Championship in the third match. Similar to its predecessor, Lashley vs. Theory, this match was intensely competitive. Carmella, the challenger who appeared to be outmatched, managed to hold her own against The EST by bringing a physical intensity uncommon for Carmella in WWE and swaying her with a superkick unexpectedly which may have won her the match. But Belair, demonstrating her tenacity as always, withstood her assault and administered the Kiss of Death to win and successfully defend her championship.

Winner: Bianca Belair

The Street Profits vs The Usos-Unified WWE Tag Team Championship Match

A drawn-out, epic-length bout, which began slowly but eventually developed to a contentious ending when it seemed as though Montez Ford’s shoulder was lifted off the mat during the decisive count. Despite an approaching singles push for his tag team partner, Dawkins entered the encounter with the passion and fury of a man who knows there is no way in hell WWE will forget about him. This was essentially Dawkins’ “coming out” celebration and the pinnacle of his professional career. However, The Usos won the fight and retained their championship.

Winner: The Usos

Ronda Rousey vs Natalya – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match

Natalya and Ronda Rousey lived up to the hype. On Saturday night, the SmackDown Ladies’ Championship match had an excellent ending sequence that emphasized the submission-based offensive of both women. The match was also adequately aggressive. A spectacular finish to a bout resulted from the exchange of grips, which included the Sharpshooter, the ankle lock, and eventually Rousey’s signature armbar. Liv Morgan won her first (and long overdue) women’s title after the match when she rushed the ring, took advantage of Rousey’s wounded knee, and rolled her up.

Winner: Ronda Rousey

Drew McIntyre vs Madcap Moss vs Riddle vs Seth Rollins vs Sheamus vs Sami Zayn vs Omos – Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

All of the participants in Saturday night’s main event, the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a chance to win the world championship, including Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Madcap Moss, Riddle, and Omos, earned their spots. One who didn’t was the one who made off with the briefcase and the scorn of the Las Vegas crowd. Theory left the locker room and was brought into the ring by WWE official Adam Pearce as the eighth competitor after losing his United States Championship to Bobby Lashley earlier on on the programme and successfully became Mr. Money in the Bank.

Winner: Theory
