Bill Goldberg, known simply as Goldberg, is a retired professional wrestler who rose to prominence in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during the late 1990s. He is widely recognized for his dominant and undefeated streak, as well as his explosive power and intensity inside the squared circle.
Goldberg was working on his farm when he hit his head on the tractor causing a cut on his head. Goldberg posted on Instagram after bleeding from his head. Many people thought he must have met a accident during training. But nobody must have thought he would bleed after hitting his head on tractor. You can see Goldberg Instagram post on his head injury.
After his initial run in WWE from 2003 to 2004, Goldberg took a break from the industry and officially announced his retirement. During this time, he pursued other interests and focused on his personal life.
However, it’s worth noting that Goldberg eventually made a comeback to professional wrestling. He returned to WWE in 2016 and has made several appearances since then, participating in high-profile matches and rivalries.
Since his return to WWE in 2016, Goldberg has engaged in several notable rivalries that have captivated fans. One of his most memorable feuds was with Brock Lesnar, which culminated in a series of intense matches. Their first encounter took place at Survivor Series 2016, where Goldberg shocked the world by defeating Lesnar in just under a minute. This victory led to a rematch at WrestleMania 33, where Goldberg once again triumphed over Lesnar to retain the Universal Championship. Their rivalry showcased their brute strength and intensity, creating an epic clash between two dominant forces in WWE.
Another significant rivalry for Goldberg came against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Goldberg challenged Wyatt for the Universal Championship and emerged victorious, capturing the title for the second time in his career. However, his reign was short-lived as he lost the championship to Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 36, leading to a brief feud between Goldberg and Strowman. This rivalry demonstrated the clash of power and showcased the physicality and determination of both competitors.
At Elimination Chamber, Goldberg would make a comeback to challenge Universal Champion Roman Reigns to a match that had been scheduled for WrestleMania 36 two years before. Goldberg was defeated by Reigns in a technical submission at Elimination Chamber. Fightful said that Goldberg was no longer under contract with WWE and was a free agent, hence this would be his last WWE match. According to reports, the company did not extend his contract after it expired at the end of 2022.
