On WWE Smackdown, the two top champions will share the same ring to place their signatures on paper to make the largest championship vs. title showdown official. Aside from that, there will be a rematch from the last Elimination Chamber on the event. In addition, during this week’s program, which takes place at the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the new Intercontinental Champion will hold a party.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg at Elimination Chamber, a two-year-in-the-making bout, did not disappoint. The battle of the spears concluded on a predictable note, with the defending champion triumphant in yet another successful title defense. Goldberg, who was well guarded, was strangled out by Reigns with the Guillotine submission hold, resulting in a rare defeat. As a result of that result, Reigns was also set to fight Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title.

But there were further twists in the story later that night at the Chamber. Lesnar physically overcame every one of his opponents to capture the WWE Championship in his first Elimination Chamber match. As a result, The Show of Shows will now feature a ‘Winner Take All’ Title vs. Title Match.

Now that Reigns and Lesnar have agreed to meet in this title fight, the only thing left for them to do is sign the match contract and make things official. That will happen tonight, as WWE revealed that The Beast Incarnate and The Tribal Chief will sign the dotted lines in the same ring. We anticipate this segment to be explosive, with Paul Heyman and The Usos joining Reigns.

Drew McIntyre defeated Madcap Moss in the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

Drew McIntyre delivered an earth-shattering Claymore Kick to make Elimination Chamber 2022 the day Madcap Moss stops laughing. Corbin converted the PPV into a 2-on-1 Handicap Match by taking advantage of the No Disqualification Falls Count Anywhere rules. McIntyre, on the other hand, used his cherished sword Angela to frighten Moss away from the ring before winning by pinfall. Following the conclusion of the last encounter, The Scottish Warrior will get another opportunity to beat up his opponent when they battle in a rematch on Smackdown. This bout should serve as a warm-up for McIntyre vs. Corbin at Wrestlemania 38.

Rick Boogs had to miss a night of Smackdown last week after being electrocuted by a microphone during the “In-Zayn Podcast.” Shinsuke Nakamura’s effort to retain the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn fell short in his absence. Zayn took advantage of the wounded knee of the titleholder by smashing it hard against the ring post and then landed a powerful kick on Nakamura to win the Intercontinental Title for the third time in his career. On that point, The Master Strategist is planning a party for this week’s Smackdown. During this segment, we anticipate an intervention from ‘Jackass Forever’ Johnny Knoxville, which might kick off another angle that culminates at Wrestlemania 38.
