John Cena is one of the most well-known wrestlers in the world. He has participated in at least one match every year since his debut in 2002. He competed in a Smackdown match at the close of last year, successfully extending his streak. Apart from becoming a professional wrestler, the 45-year-old has dabbled in the glitzy world of film, becoming a successful actor in Hollywood. It didn’t stop him from surprising his adoring supporters by entering the ring every now and again.

Everyone loves one John Cena when he waves his hand over his face saying his catchphrase “You Can’t See Me”. But did you know there is a funny story behind the catchphrase coming into existence.

According to WWE, Cena was tinkering with his younger brother Sean, who was checking out hip-hop tracks for his then-upcoming rap album (also titled You Can’t See Me), when the younger Cena sibling began dancing about and waving his hand in front of his face. Sean dared his Cena to do the move during a wrestling match, and John agreed before adding the catchphrase. As a result, one of wrestling’s most recognizable motions was formed. Little did DCEU movie and television actor John Cena realize that his statements would be immortalized in meme form, and hundreds of Twitter visual jokes with him as the star would arise.

John Cena may fight Austin Theory at the Grandest Stage of them all

Fans should anticipate John Cena to surprise them at Wrestlemania 39. He has been in and even headlined a number of Wrestlemania matches. It will be intriguing to watch whether he competes against Austin Theory for the United States Championship. There is also a huge chance that Cena might possibly make an appearance at SummerSlam.
