Rebecca Quin (born January 30, 1987, Limerick, Ireland) is a professional wrestler from Ireland who currently works for WWE under the ring name Becky Lynch. She is one of the company’s most recognisable stars and has a lot of fans all over the world.

In 2002, Quin started her professional wrestling training. She started out working in Ireland and occasionally pairing up with her brother under the ring name Rebecca Knox, but she soon started competing on the independent circuit for different promotions all across Europe and North America. She is well known for her participation in Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, where she won the inaugural SuperGirls Championship in 2005.

Lynch suffered a severe head injury during a match in 2006, which prevented her from competing for several years. She came back in 2012 and signed a deal with WWE in 2013, and was placed in NXT. After being promoted to WWE’s main roster, she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the first time at Backlash 2016 and has held it four times.

On the June 26 episode of NXT, Lynch defeated Summer Rae on her television debut. The following week, Lynch and Bayley competed in a losing tag-team match against the BFFs, the NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte and Sasha Banks. Winning the SmackDown Women’s title

Lynch defeated Natalya in her maiden match as a member of SmackDown after becoming the first female selected during the 2016 WWE draft. In a losing effort against Alexa Bliss, Natalya, and Nikki Bella in a six-woman tag team match at SummerSlam, Lynch joined up with Carmella and Naomi.

Becky defeated Carmella to win the six-pack elimination challenge at Backlash on September 11 and become the first SmackDown Women’s Champion. Due to Lynch’s actual injury, her first championship defence against Alexa Bliss was postponed to the November 8 broadcast of SmackDown, where Lynch triumphed.

Double Champion

Lynch participated in the women’s Royal Rumble match on January 27, 2019, at the Royal Rumble event, taking the place of the injured Lana, who was the 28th entrant. Lynch would eventually eliminate Charlotte Flair to win the match. Vince McMahon later added Charlotte Flair to the match making it a triple-threat match.
