The Undertaker, a WWE superstar, has dismissed allegations of a real-life feud with his old WrestleMania adversary CM Punk. After losing his championship to The Rock at the Royal Rumble in 2013, the Second City Saint vowed to end the unbeaten record.

The Deadman and CM Punk faced a battle in a highly anticipated match at WrestleMania 29. The Undertaker triumphed, extending his WrestleMania winning run to 21-0. Despite speculations of enmity following CM Punk’s exit from WWE and subsequent signing of AEW, the legend recently refuted any resentment. He commented favorably about working with The Straight Edge Society’s leader.

The Undertaker claimed in a recent interview with Inside The Ropes that he has a nice working relationship with the AEW star and is happy about their WrestleMania 29 match.

“He was great to work with. I’m very proud of that match. We sat down and we thought about ideas and everything. It was great. I had no beef with Punk, he was always business with me. Hopefully, I was with him [too],” Taker said. [H/T – Wrestling. Inc]

In addition, he noted that “business is business” and that CM Punk was always professional with him:

“He was good with me and that’s all that matters. Business is business, whatever’s best for business…Everybody thinks they’re an expert but they really have no clue. It’s ridiculous online. Business has always been business and [Punk] was always business with me.” [H/T – Wrestling. Inc]

CM Punk was not happy with his WrestleMania 29 match with The Undertaker

Former WWE wrestler CM Punk is a very controversial superstar. He is known to rub people the wrong way and over the years, that attitude of his has been detrimental to him. He left WWE in acrimonious circumstances and the same can be said about his time in AEW.

During his time in WWE, Punk was at the top of the mountain when he took on The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29. Punk lost the match but went on to put on a good show like he always does but according to WWE legend Mick Foley, Punk was not happy that the match was not the main event.

Mick Foley was speaking on his Foley is Pod podcast when he revealed how Punk felt about the match. He said, “I said, ‘Phil, you decide the main event. The fans decide.’ I think Edge and I at WrestleMania 22 had a right to say we had the match of the night in 2006 and by no means, shape, or form were we advertised as the main event. You go out there, and you try to steal the show. And in wrestling and life, we do get to decide what our own great moments are. And so I think if Phil would’ve been able to do that, he would’ve been happier.”
