We won’t have a clear picture of AEW’s trajectory until we have a solid few months’ worth of coverage to work with, but until then, we’re content to watch and speculate about which of their stars will go on to become a household name.

This is only the beginning of the many positive qualities that can be said about this child.

This young British man has all the divine gifts you could ever hope for, which may make some people think of a contemporary Randy Orton—without the Britishness. After competing in AEW’s first-ever official match, we’d say that he’s off to a pretty solid start. He would be amazing as the challenger fighting from behind. Sabian is down to earth, has a great look, and when you add those qualities to his incredible ring skills, we’re off to a great start.
The WWE main roster tag team division lacks the required depth, aside from The Bloodline, The New Day, and The Street Profits, to provide quality programming in the future. RK-Bro and other unconventional combinations might not be the greatest choice long-term, as WWE needs to either reinvent their current tag teams or add fresh talent from the independents or other firms. The acclaimed tag team in AEW, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, are making significant progress within the organization and are being praised by both fans and industry icons.
Undoubtedly, WWE’s Women’s Division on the main roster needs greater star power. The other competitors in the women’s division do not elicit the appropriate reactions from the crowd, save from the more well-known names like Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Ronda Rousey, and Bianca Belair. Even Liv Morgan, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion, is receiving some negative feedback from the audience.
WWE may bring in some established stars from other promotions in addition to developing new talent like the current AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. It would be fantastic to see the 36-year-old wrestler in a WWE ring before she calls it a day because she has built a reputation for herself everywhere she has set foot.
It’s ironic that you might say Awesome Kong is already a well-known celebrity in this entry. With the Netflix series GLOW, the person once known as Kharma during her brief tenure with WWE, has been lighting it up on the big screen and making quite an impact. Although she may be nearing the end of her in-ring career, it seems nearly certain at this point that she will become a star in some capacity. It sounds like a decent idea to start with the AEW Women’s Championship.
It might take some time before AEW truly executes on this, but when and if they do, it will be a sight to behold. Pentagon Jr. has been crushing it for years, and now everyone can watch him in action on the main stage. He may be concentrating on the tag team division right now, but given how powerful a singles star he is, we don’t think it will continue for very long.
