If a normal person saw Scott Steiner, then that person would surely think that Steiner was from a different planet. Steiner was built differently. He was strong and insanely muscular and had a jaw-dropping physique. He came a long way from his start as a plucky babyface. He was a mid-card wrestler at best until he joined his older brother, Rick Steiner, and the two formed one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling history. He then split up and embarked on a singles run which saw him scale some high peaks and have some great rivals in the WWE. In this article, we will look at some of his best rivalries.

Triple H

On RAW in January 2003, Scott Steiner began feuding with World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, and his faction Evolution. They began competing against one another for strength and muscle conditioning leading to world title matches at the Royal Rumble and No Way Out. Steiner won the first match by disqualification after Triple H attacked him with a sledgehammer, but lost the second match at No Way Out via pinfall. The rivalry between the two men was not a classic as most of the fans did not like it but because Steiner’s time with the WWE was so short, this feud surely ranks as one of his best.

Test

Scott Steiner had an intense rivalry with Test. They were a tag team, to begin with, but broke up after Test started to treat Stacy Keibler, their manager, misogynistically. Steiner then defeated Test in a grudge match to win the managerial services of Keibler at Bad Blood but lost her back to Test in a rematch on RAW. At Unforgiven, Steiner faced Test with Keibler’s managerial services again on the line with the extra stipulation that, if Steiner lost, he would become Test’s manservant. Steiner lost after Keibler’s interference backfired, and the tag team was reunited at Test’s behest.

Money Inc.

After WrestleMania, The Steiner Brothers (Scott and Rick) feuded with Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster). At King of the Ring, The Steiner Brothers and The Smokin’ Gunns (Billy and Bart) defeated The Headshrinkers and Money Inc. in an eight-man tag match. The following evening in Columbus, Ohio, in an untelevised match at a Raw taping, The Steiner Brothers defeated Money Inc. for the WWF World Tag Team Championship. Money Inc. regained the title on June 16, at a house show in Rockford, Illinois, and lost it back to The Steiner Brothers at another house show, on June 19, in St. Louis, Missouri.
