According to a source, WWE is “ecstatic” about Zayn’s performance and audience reaction. This occurred before Zayn challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
According to a WWE insider, Elimination Chamber’s location in Zayn’s hometown was “not by accident.” According to the source, WWE has a “solid set of plans in order” for both Zayn and the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. According to the unidentified source, the former “NXT” Champion has been the “MVP” since last summer and has been simple to deal with since his push. During his battle against Reigns, Zayn’s “improvised” promo was claimed to have “ended up better for both the company and Zayn.”
“Fightful” also reported that internal WWE paperwork from November showed Kevin Owens and Zayn battling for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title at WrestleMania 39. The two will compete against the current champs, Jey and Jimmy Uso. The tag team title bout was officially confirmed on “WWE Raw” on March 20. WrestleMania 39 is scheduled for April 1 and 2, 2019, at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

WWE superstar Sami Zayn has been in the industry for 21 years and is now reflecting on his great experience. When it comes to sports entertainment, knowing how to straddle the line between generating a reaction purely because fans can’t tolerate a performance and getting a reaction because said person is actually good at getting under everyone’s skin is critical. No contemporary WWE superstar walks that line more expertly or entertainingly than Sami Zayn.
Zayn prefers to refer to himself as Smackdown’s “locker room leader” and the “chief strategist” of the WWE. Of course, both titles are disputed. Especially when, in the midst of it all, Zayn has continuously positioned himself as the victim of a brand-wide plot while fleeing matches (which were partially his idea) at every step.
