Roman Reigns Talks The Rock WrestleMania 39 Rumors

Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, appeared last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the WWE Royal Rumble and his battle against Kevin Owens. “There’s been a huge buzz on that for a long time now,” Reigns said. “But it’s really picked up in the last couple of years. I believe he just came out with a statement saying he’s not going to be ready in time, which that’s the kind of face everyone’s making, like, hold on, this guy trains every single day. He’s huge!”

In addition, Reigns noted that getting physically fit and getting your body ready for a high-profile main event match like this one are two very different things. “That’s number one, Dwayne,” Reigns said. “When you’re going up against Roman Reigns, you better get ready to fall down.”

The Rock reportedly told WWE management that he won’t be able to get his body in shape for a match with Reigns, according to recent reports. Rock might, however, make an appearance at this weekend’s Royal Rumble. Reigns also talked about Owens and their tonight’s showdown at The Rumble. The tribal chief declared that his plan will not change in any way. He continued by saying that after defeating Owens so much, it’s almost like it’s in his genetic code.

Reigns surpass GUNTHER’s enormous record while reigning as champion

In his role as Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has now added another achievement to his resume. The Tribal Chief won the Universal Championship for a second time at Payback 2020 by defeating The Fiend and Braun Strowman in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat match. Reigns became the first Superstar to concurrently hold both the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. He may brag about another record at the moment.

With 871 days as the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has now outlasted GUNTHER’s previous record of 870 days as the NXT UK champion. Wrestling Stats & Info posted about the statistic on Twitter.
