WWE has big plans for the future, including a return to Madison Square Garden in July. Yet, they may not bring two of their most important players with them. According to Sean Sapp, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are not currently scheduled to appear at WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden. This is incredibly intriguing, but they still have a long way to go.
He said, “WWE is returning to MSG in July, and is advertising current Smackdown talent at the moment. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are not yet listed.”
The main event of WrestleMania 39 will be a brawl between Reigns and Rhodes. The bout was scheduled after Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble, but it’s anyone’s guess where things will go following the immortals’ display. If Roman Reigns loses his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, it stands to reason that he deserves a vacation. It is also extremely fascinating to note that Cody Rhodes also isn’t touted as a name to draw more attention to WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden.
