WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. Mick was a mainstay in the WWE during the 90s and the early 2000s where he changed persona quite frequently. He played the character of Dude Love, Cactus Jack and Mankind but during all those times, he never once lost his connection with the fans. Foley has always been a big man and is not shy about it and what makes it even more impressive is the fact that he took a lot of jaw-dropping bumps that were never again attempted by any wrestler after him.

On the very first episode of his new podcast, Foley is Pod, the former WWE champion said that he currently weighs in excess of 300 pounds and given his age, he will only go back to the WWE if he manages to shed all those extra pounds. He said, “I’m going to break some news here, I’m not going back on WWE television until I’m under 300 (pounds) because I feel like I’ve let Vince down. Even if he gets on the phone with me personally and says ‘Mick we’d like to have you back,’ cause I’ve said no on a couple of occasions. I did come back for Undertaker, but I’ve put on a ton of weight since then, too, because, I took my responsibility to keep my local eateries in business during the pandemic seriously!”

Foley was RAW general manager

Mick Foley had been away from the WWE for a long time but then made a surprising return in 2016 when Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon were duking it out over who would be in charge of the WWE. During that period, Foley was a mainstay on WWE television and was responsible for heading Monday Night RAW along with Stephanie. Although he did not wrestle, he did have some memorable moments as general manager of RAW by taking on SmackDown’s former general manager Daniel Bryan in the rating department.

Mick was written off television due to an attack by The Fiend after being relieved of his duties by Stephanie McMahon at the beginning of 2017. He most recently appeared on WWE TV back at the Hall of Fame ceremony over the WrestleMania weekend, where he inadvertently made headlines after being snubbed from the Undertaker’s speech.
