Major WWE executive just made a new, long-term deal

Nick Khan signs a long-term lucrative deal with WWE.

Nick Khan, co-CEO of WWE, has agreed to a new, long-term contract with the business. The agreement was signed on October 19 and lasts through August 5, 2025, according to Dave Meltzer’s revelation in the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. His remuneration plan includes a basic salary of $1,350,000 year as well as other provisions of the agreement. Khan will get $3,575,000 in yearly stock awards in addition to a $2,160,00 target bonus.

When Khan joined WWE in 2020 as the organization’s President, he also got $15 million in shares. After Vince McMahon resigned earlier this year, he immediately rose to become one of the most influential figures in the whole pro wrestling industry and is now co-CEO with Stephanie McMahon.

Khan has assisted WWE in leading at a crucial period while assisting the firm in securing a number of profitable commercial transactions. Khan negotiated on behalf of WWE during its current broadcast rights agreement discussions with FOX and NBCUniversal before joining WWE as an executive.

Nick Khan announces new series with two top RAW stars

WWE currently has Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon as co-CEOs. He spoke at the third quarter results call, which suggests that he is in charge of the financial side of things. He discussed plans for a new series starring RAW power couple Bianca Belair and Montez Ford as well as WWE’s recent agreement with Hulu.

As you may know, in addition to their massive Peacock agreement, which unquestionably did wonders for their internet viewership figures, WWE now has a deal with Hulu. According to reports, Peacock effectively bought out the WWE Network by paying WWE a sizable sum of money.

RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and her husband Montez Ford will appear in an eight-episode series, co-CEO Nick Khan announced on the third quarter earnings call: “Also in 2023, WWE Studios will premiere a new series a Hulu, featuring Superstars Bianca Belair and Montez Ford,” Khan said. “The eight-episode first season is currently in production. We are also pleased to be doing more business with our friends at Disney and Hulu, where we’ve also recently extended our RAW re-air rights deal.” (H/T WrestleZone)
