John Cena made his long-awaited return on WWE RAW and the whole show revolved around him and deservedly so given it was his 20-year anniversary in the WWE. The show started off with The Champ being welcomed into the arena surrounded by fellow wrestlers on either side with whom he had some emotional moments. There were also some good backstage segments with The Street Profits, Seth Rollins and Theory.
A lot of the current and former wrestlers sent their congratulations to Cena via video which the WWE aired for all to see. What was shocking to see was the current AEW wrestlers Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson and Paul Wight also sent their messages given that those three men had great matches with Cena.

Cena who was clearly overwhelmed by all the kind words took to Twitter and tweeted, “Overwhelmed with ALL the messages thru this month. Being at #WWERaw last night gave me an opportunity to show you how much YOU mean to me. Thank you WWE for every chance you’ve taken on me, so I will continue to always give my best for my home, for my family, for US.”

John Cena made his return to the WWE and that news has the wrestling world buzzing. WWE declared that the month of June would be “Cena Month”, marking 20 years since The Champ made his debut. From winning all the major titles to having matches at WrestleMania with the likes of The Rock and The Undertaker, Cena has done it all. An all too familiar foe sang Cena’s praises and it was none other than Kurt Angle.
In an interview with TV Insider, Kurt recalled his first match with Cena and said that he was destined for stardom from the beginning. Angle revealed the conversation he had with Cena following the match. He said, “All I said was, ‘You stepped up tonight. It was a great match.’ He said ‘Thank you, Mr Angle, for working with me. I really do appreciate it.’ He was very respectful. I knew this kid was very special from the first time I got in the ring and after I got done wrestling him, I knew he would be a huge star down the road.”
