In a surprising change of events, Khabib Nurmagomedov has given Jake Paul a contract to fight in MMA as part of his new Eagle FC company. This comes after Paul had been toying with the idea of making his MMA debut by competing in the middleweight division. He’s gone out of his way to share this sentiment on social media, even mentioning UFC president Dana White in the act.

The most intriguing aspect of this discussion is Paul’s criticism of White’s remuneration for combatants. He’s even recorded a diss track against the UFC president, claiming that the proceeds will go to “underpaid UFC fighters who are paid the $12k minimum.”

Paul has also claimed that he would join the UFC provided White promises that fighters receive 50% of the money, which is unlikely to happen because the current split for fighters is less than 20%.

Nurmagomedov addressed the media at the Eagle 44 FC event about the offer:

“We offered him, now we’re waiting on his answer. If he wants, we’re here.”

Other promoters, including Bellator and PFL, have expressed interest in signing Paul.

Paul is unbeaten in his professional boxing career, with a 5-0 record.

He has defeated welterweight champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, among others.

The Problem Child appears to be nearly guaranteed to make his Octagon debut in 2022, proving that anything can happen in life since he was just two years ago battling other YouTubers.

Jake Paul Career

Jake Paul is unbeaten in boxing so far and has racked up a number of stunning knockouts in his brief career.

He first entered the ring on August 25, 2018, when he faced fellow YouTuber Deji (channel name ComedyShortsGamer). Paul came out on top in that fight, and it inspired him to go for more.

As he gained additional victories, he began to mention larger names, the most noteworthy of whom was Conor McGregor. The Irish star has declined all offers to fight Paul and has made remarks about him and his brother Logan.

According to YouTube Boxing, he said: “I couldn’t care about them two dingbats. I don’t see so but never say never. If they’re gonna keep competing and whatnot, who f—ing knows? But dingbats, the two of ‘em.”

Paul has a professional record of five wins, zero losses, and zero draws.

He has fought six times, the first of which was an amateur contest against KSI’s brother Deji on the undercard of their brothers’ event.

But since then, he’s beaten fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, and MMA fighters Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley.

Since then, he’s defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, and MMA fighters Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley.

In their first fight, Paul outpointed Woodley, but in their rematch, Paul knocked out the former UFC champion. Every other victory was likewise achieved in a knockout.
