Roman Reigns is one of the most talked about wrestlers in the world right now and for good reason. Roman has been the Undisputed WWE champion for over 900 days and has taken down every single competitor that has faced up to him till date. He has wowed crowds not only with his in-ring skills but also with his mic skills which have gone up a notch ever since he came to be known as The Tribal Chief.

While speaking to The Bet Las Vegas: On Demand show, Taker said, “Now he’s so in touch with his character and he’s the face of the company and he’s been on this incredible run. It’s good that he’s been able to go from 10 minutes of straight boos to being World Champion for over 800 days now, and to figure in and be a part of that and being able to do whatever little part that I did, it’s cool to see where he’s taken that.”
It’s fair to say that Roman Reigns has made his mark in the company and is now arguably the top dog in the company.

One of the most interesting parts about Roman and his persona is his name and there is a very interesting story about how WWE came up with the name Roman Reigns. It is because he stole a part of his name from another wrestler. He always wanted to be called Roman but had difficulty with selecting his last name. There was also another wrestler in the WWE developmental territory named Calvin Reigns and he was just released from his contract. Seeing this, Roman got an idea and pitched the idea to the WWE top brass that he wanted to be called Roman Reigns.
WWE went with it and ever since then, the name Reigns has become synonymous with Roman as he has become a household name and is known to virtually all the wrestling fans throughout the world as he continues to mesmerize his fans with his in-ring ability and top mic skills.
