With the Royal Rumble just days away, the WWE Universe will finally have an answer as to who will take on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Initial speculation suggests the company is planning a first-ever match for Reigns, with potential opponents being The Rock or Cody Rhodes.・You may face an old rival named McIntyre. Roman Reigns will meet Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble for his WWE Universal Championship. However, the show also requires Sami Zayn to undergo a “final test” to remain part of The Bloodline. There are rumors that WWE may suggest Sami Zayn as Reigns’ WrestleMania opponent.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says Zayn is unlikely to face Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania because, according to WWE, he’s not “marketable” for casual fans. Drew McIntyre or Seth Rollins is more likely to take that spot.
