It would seem so. For this Monday’s 30th anniversary edition of the old flagship, WWE has advertised The Undertaker, ‘The Nature Boy’ himself, and many more. However, Flair revealed a name that was not advertised and may have been meant to be a surprise before he revealed it.

Describing the incident in his To Be The Man podcast; “Hulkamania is coming. He confirmed to me last night that he’s coming.”

Hogan, like Flair, is a very divisive character as a result of the racial slurs he made in the past. In order to honor the late Mean Gene Okerlund, WWE briefly took note of this by removing “The Hulkster” from the Hall of Fame in 2015 and then reinstating him in 2019. After that, he made an appearance at Saudi Arabia’s Crown Jewel 2019 as the captain of a team of babyfaces competing against a team of heels led, appropriately, by Ric Flair.

Following the debates of his claimed acts on the “Plane Ride From Hell,” which were revived by Dark Side Of The Ring in 2021, Raw Is XXX will signal Flair’s personal homecoming from the WWE slammer. Later that year, the group announced his complete release from the corporation when he was deleted from the opening signature of the organization.

Scott Steiner warns Ric Flair as talk of in-ring return gathers speed

Looks like all is not well between Ric Flair and Scott Steiner. Recently, rumors started swirling around that Ric Flair was planning to make an in-ring comeback at the age of 73. While that seems to be a ridiculous thing to do at such an age, there are strong rumors that Flair will indeed make a comeback. One person who is not so thrilled about this is Scott Steiner. During a live signing with Highspots Superstore which featured WWE Hall of Famers The Steiner Brothers, Rick and Scott, things got heated when someone asked Scott about Ric Flair.

Scott exploded and said, “Ric Flair ain’t no friend of mine. I would kill him. I would destroy him. Yeah, everybody wants to see him get beat up.” He said this in reference to Flair’s upcoming retirement match and was brought up with a suggestion for Scott to be his opponent. There were rumors that the opponent would either be Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat or Hulk Hogan but those reports turned out to be false.

The reason why Steiner hates Ric Flair so much was well explained by former wrestler Arn Anderson. It dates all the way back to their days in WCW when both men were top stars. Arn said, “I think Ric had a match with Scotty on a big show, Clash of Champions, maybe, and it had some time involved, and apparently, Scotty didn’t like the match and he felt like Ric held back, or tanked, or something. I never had the conversation with either guy but there was like a conspiracy, and in somebody’s mind, one way or the other, I don’t know how it went down but the match was not what either one of them wanted it to be. And I think they carried that.”
