Cody Rhodes’ “The American Nightmare” just proved himself to be one of the all-time greats in the pro wrestling industry. His feat is very amazing to think of. He went on to face Seth Rollins with a torn pectoral muscle and he reigned supreme even against all the stacked odds. Never in the pro wrestling industry has any wrestler put on a match with a torn pectoral muscle. It is just a superhuman feat. Even the audience was astonished by what Cody Rhodes had to offer, even with such a serious injury.

The moment when Rhodes removed his jacket, the crowd just went into silence as they could see, that his injury was severe. Also, it was shocking for many viewers as well, as no one thought Cody would have such an amazing match-up against Rollins in such difficult conditions. Also, fans were shocked as they didn’t expect Cody to fight, as it could have become a very bad memory for all in the wrestling industry. But what Cody did was a career-altering feat.

Cody Rhodes was in severe pain during the whole match. From struggling to execute basic maneuvers and taking powerbombs, it wasn’t easy to watch, but the man gave it all and executed everything perfectly. Some fans were upset that WWE allowed Cody to perform, and WWE forced him to do so, as it could have turned into something serious. But it’s just speculation. The WWE does not allow injured wrestlers to fight. So, it is certain it was Cody’s will to enter the ring and execute the match in the most dangerous structure of all, Hell in a Cell.

Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins was epic

Both men deserve respect as Cody, with a torn pectoral, delivered a match no one in pro wrestling would dare to do. Seth Rollins also deserves credit as he tried to keep the damage to a minimum yet gave a stupendous Hell in a Cell match. Cody deserves respect, but without Rollins, the match wouldn’t have been possible. Seth brought out his A-game and did everything perfectly, as he convinced the audience, that he was beating up the injured Rhodes while protecting him. That is something that should receive a large round of applause.

Rollins vs Rhodes was truly special and it will go down in the history of pro wrestling as one of the greatest matches ever. WWE would be very happy with Rhodes and Rollins, as both men didn’t disappoint anyone, even when there were hindrances. With this amazing feat, Rhodes has proven himself to be inhuman and is unconditionally dedicated to his work. It is now expected that Rhodes will get a World Title push as it is well deserved for the man called “The American Nightmare”.
