With more than 20 years of wrestling experience still Cesaro didn’t have a good rival to compare him with. I couldn’t help but notice in his career he never had any decent rivalry. With his talent and in-ring prowess, he should have been one of the greatest in the business. But WWE gave boring storylines to him making things worse for “The Swiss Superman”.

For with the time he was with WWE he never got to win a world championship and someone with potential as Castagnoli. Whether its strength or manoeuvres, Castagnoli knows it all and performs with exquisite beauty.

There are not many rivalries Cesaro had but we are here with some of his best rivalries in WWE which helped the WWE universe know the potential and talent Cesaro had.

Here’s a look back at some of Cesaro’s most memorable WWE rivalries

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns and Cesaro went to war in Backlash 2021. The Swiss Superman got a chance to swing at The WWE universal championship but Reigns defended it. But both men fought hard and even though Cesaro lost he gave the crowd one hell of a show.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins returns to action at the Royal Rumble after taking a few months off due to the birth of his and Becky Lynch’s first child, still using the deluded “Messiah” persona he used before his sabbatical. Rollins took his rage out on Cesaro after no Smackdown superstars gave themselves up to “embrace his vision,” creating this mid-card battle.

Rollins would try to persuade Cesaro to embrace his vision and follow him in order for him to advance in his career, but the Swiss Cyborg would turn him down once more. The two have been trading assaults since February, leading up to this battle.

In Wrestlemania 37 Cesaro shocked the world by beating Rollins.

Sheamus

Sheamus and Cesaro wrestled to a no-contest due to a referee stoppage Sunday night at Clash of Champions, after the best-of-seven series between the two was stretched to a seventh and deciding battle.

Sheamus was clotheslined over the barricade outside the ring by Cesaro. WWE medical officials inspected both wrestlers while they were on the floor and concluded they could no longer continue.
