Brock Lesnar is back and he looks to be in the best shape ever. The Beast returned on SmackDown after the main event and made his way to the ring to give an F5 to WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. He then went on to give The Usos a couple more F5s and laid waste to The Bloodline. It was a message of intent from the former WWE champion who returned to a deafening pop from the raucous Minneapolis crowd.

As Michael Cole said on commentary, “The Beast wants his titles back”, WWE put out a tweet stating that Brock Lesnar will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title in a last man standing match at SummerSlam. That news received a lot of mixed emotions from the fans. While some were ecstatic that Lesnar returned, others simply did not want another fight with the same men involved. We came up with a few suggestions on whom Lesnar should have gone after he made his return which you can have a look below.

John Cena

Now, this would have been something but for this to have come to fruition, Lesnar would have had to wait a little longer as John Cena is scheduled to make a return on RAW on June 27. Cena and Lesnar had an epic rivalry in 2012. Brock had made his return to the WWE after a decade away from the company and immediately went after the franchise star. What followed next was a series of intense battles that saw both men bring their A-Game to the forefront in what was a treat to the fans. Another rivalry between the two would have been a welcome change and one that the fans would have loved.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre successfully dethroned Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 when he defeated him to win the WWE title. It was a watershed moment for McIntyre as it was his first major WWE title and it was long overdue. The rivalry between Lesnar and Drew did not last long but it was fun. What would have made it even more fun was the presence of fans. This rivalry took place during the COVID-19 pandemic and that meant there were no fans to see it live. The two superstars are great workers and going by what they produced at WrestleMania 36, they complement each other perfectly. WWE should look to pit McIntyre and Lesnar in the future for sure.

Riddle

Brock Lesnar and Riddle have somewhat similar careers. Both men are WWE superstars and they also fought in the UFC. There is also some history between the two as there have been reports that Lesnar does not like Riddle. It all began way before Riddle made his WWE debut when he took aim at Brock by suggesting that he would be the one to retire The Beast. Obviously, Lesnar did not take kindly to this and confronted Riddle backstage at the Royal Rumble in 2020. According to reports, Lesnar suggested to Riddle that he stop tagging him and saying his name because as far as Lesnar was concerned, they would never share the ring and work together. Given that Riddle is not involved in any angle, a rivalry with Brock would have been worth watching.
