Brock Lesnar is a household name in both the wrestling and the MMA world. Lesnar has gone on to achieve things that some people can only dream of. From being the NCAA champion during his college days to becoming the WWE champion in his early 20s, Brock has done it all.

When he left the WWE in 2004, Lesnar went on to try his hand at a lot of sports, and the one where he found the most success was in the UFC. He took the UFC by storm and rolled through most of his opponents with ease. He did have some hiccups when he came up against Alistair Overeem and Cain Velasquez.

A current UFC star has claimed that Brock is his dream opponent in the octagon and that is none other than heavyweight Jon Jones. In an interview with Sporting News Fights, Jones stressed how much he respects Lesnar and how big a fight involving the two of them would be. Jones said, “I think fighting Brock Lesnar would’ve been really cool. Brock isn’t the most technical guy, but he has a massive fanbase. He’s a lot bigger than me. It would’ve been one of those real cool kind of David vs. Goliath situations. It would’ve been real cool for cross promoting. I think we both would’ve done great things for our family, for our team. It would’ve been massive.”

Was Brock Lesnar vs The Rock going to happen at WrestleMania?

Brock Lesnar is a household name in the WWE and he has had many memorable matches over the last decade. From fighting the likes of The Undertaker to Roman Reigns, Lesnar has done it all.

Brock has completely transformed his character from a person that did not speak much to wowing the crowds on the mic. He has taken up this persona of a Canadian Alpha Male coming out in his flannel shirt, jeans, and hat to the next level.

A fan recently asked Dave Meltzer on Twitter about what the plans were for The Rock to which Meltzer replied, “Not really. Rock was planned for Lesnar the next year but after his injuries, the movie studios did not want him wrestling again.”

The Rock and Brock Lesnar faced off against each other for the first time at Summerslam 2002 which resulted in Lesnar pinning The Rock and winning the WWE title. After that match, The Rock took up acting full-time and has gone on to become a household name in Hollywood.
