WrestleMania 38 was a resounding success and it was also the first time that it was held over two days with fans in attendance. Bobby Lashley fought Omos in the last WrestleMania and picked up an impressive win over the giant. He now has his sights set on an even more intimidating opponent for next year’s WrestleMania and that is none other than Brock Lesnar. Lashley was speaking on WWE’s The Bump when he revealed that he wants to face the Beast at next year’s showpiece event.

Lashley said, “If we’re in Hollywood, it’s a big matchup, for me, I’ve always had those really tough challenges going into WrestleMania. Of course, this one has to be another big one, me and Brock, we still have a little score to settle. I have a win over him, and then he ended up winning my title back.” Both men took on each other in what was a highly anticipated match at last year’s Royal Rumble. The All-Mighty scored the win thanks to some help from Roman Reigns.

Getting injured didn’t help Lashley

Lashley, unfortunately, missed a chance to take on Lesnar, albeit along with four other men, when he suffered a real injury at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. That led to him being written out of the Elimination Chamber match during the match itself. That meant that he had to drop the WWE Championship without even having a proper go at defending it. That title was eventually won by Lesnar and since then, it has gone quiet on the championship front for both Lashley and Brock.

Since then, a lot has changed in the WWE. Lashley came back from his injury and took on Omos at WrestleMania 38 and won whereas Brock has not been seen in the WWE after losing the WWE title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 and it is still not clear if Lesnar has any interest in making a comeback to the ring.
