According to a recent research by Fightful Select, there are a few explanations for the rise in single matches for WWE Superstar Angelo Dawkins. According to a WWE insider who spoke with Fightful, Angelo Dawkins is progressing because of his improved in-ring skills and physique, and according to another source, it’s no accident that Dawkins has been working more singles matches and that “the higherups” are praising him as well.

Dawkins’ most recent singles bout took place on the October 3 episode of “WWE Raw” against Solo Sikoa of the Bloodline. Dawkins ultimately fell to Sikoa in the game. Fightful claims that since June 20, Dawkins has competed in as many singles matches as he did from WrestleMania 2021 to May 2022. It’s noteworthy to note that he defeated fellow Bloodline member Jey Uso in his bout on the June 20 edition of “Raw.” On the “SmackDown” program airing on July 15, he later beat Jimmy Uso.

Dawkins has been tagging with Montez Ford, a WWE Superstar, since 2016. They’ve held the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships. Dawkins’ potential has been discussed by wrestlers who aren’t even affiliated with the business. According to a source from AEW, Dawkins might become the breakout player for the Street Profits if given more chances to compete in singles matches. The good news is that future single matches may expect to witness Dawkins at work.

Tag Team Titles Wanted Back by Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford

The Street Profits’ recent record is limited to losing important matches. Although there were hints of a breakup, such as Montez Ford’s annoyance following defeats to The Usos, they have mainly relegated to the midcard as of late. Angelo Dawkins declares that he wants the Profits to be the team that defeats Jimmy and Jey despite the fact that each significant push seems to have the brakes pumped.

Beyond using the Profits as a dependable tandem that elevates other talent, WWE needs to do something with them. Before their surge cooled, fans were shouting for a Ford solo run, and now it feels like they are running in place—especially since it is doubtful that the Profits will be the team that advances.
