Andre made his WWE debut in 1982 when Vince McMahon took over the company from his father. After his death in 1993, Andre became the inaugural inductee of the newly created WWF Hall of Fame. Outside of wrestling, he is best known for appearing as Fezzik, the giant in the 1987 film The Princess Bride.
