Tony Khan, the CEO of All Elite Wrestling(AEW), has guaranteed that a new star would appear on Wednesday night’s program and that they will be the latest name to break through the Forbidden Door.
He tweeted after the Rampage event on Friday night: ‘As referenced on #AEWRampage, I have a surprise: on #AEWDynamite Live on @TBSNetwork a top wrestler will walk through the Forbidden Door this Wednesday and debut in @AEW.
‘More info to come. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great Rampage tonight! See you Wednesday on TBS!’
The AEW president has had people talking, and he even implied that the debutante may be a WWE star, admitting that he’s open to talents from businesses with which he isn’t always ‘on good terms.’
He poked: ‘The Forbidden Door can be opened for anyone from any wrestling promotion in the world, whether or not it’s a company @AEW is on good terms with, even if it’s someone from a company that’s open for business. They’re also welcome to slam the door in the face of their prior company.’
With the Limitless One among those whose 90-day non-compete provisions expired this week, there’s a lot to analyze with the second tweet, even though the most likely scenario may be someone like Keith Lee debuting.
Other possible candidates include Keith’s wife Mia Yim, Karrion Kross, and Scarlett Bordeaux, to mention a few.

Some speculate that the newcomer might ‘slam the door in the face of their previous organization,’ with some speculating that Mustafa Ali, who was recently refused his release request by WWE, could potentially hop ship.
Toni Storm and Jeff Hardy are two other names that have been mentioned, although Ali is doubtful because he is still under contract.
Fans are still guessing, especially considering Khan’s ‘open for business’ statement.
It’s a word used within WWE for a long time, and it was mentioned last year by then-NXT boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque when questioned about AEW‘s partnership with IMPACT Wrestling and the likelihood of WWE following suit.
At the time, he told Metro.co.uk:
‘Look, in what you’ve seen in the past – Progress, ICW, Evolve, all those things – yeah, we’re open for business in a lot of ways.
‘People’s thoughts, misperceptions, they’re perceived knowledge of what we do, how we think, is often greatly misinterpreted and not necessarily accurate.’
