The United States of America will be keen to continue their winning momentum in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship when they take on Bulgaria. Both sides were in action on the opening day and endured contrasting fates. While the United States registered a convincing victory, the European country were well beaten in the end. Hence, the Sunday evening clash will provide an opportunity for Bulgaria to bounce back from the setback. However, they will be well aware of the difficult challenge awaiting them.

On the other hand, Bulgaria were facing the co-hosts Poland in the last match on Friday. Poland, who are the two-time defending champions, came out on top with a convincing 3-0 victory. As for the table is concerned in Pool C, both United States and Poland have three points each, while Mexico and Bulgaria have zero to their name.

The 24-team competition will take place from August 26th to September 11th. All of the teams are divided into six groups with each pool consisting of four teams. The group phase will last for six days, with each team playing once against their pool opponents. Following the completion of the schedule, 16 teams will be ascertained. It will have all six pool winners, runners-up, and the best four third-placed teams. They will proceed to the first round of elimination.
