The CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2023 starts on August 28 and ends on September 16, 2023. It’s managed by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and is happening in four countries – Italy, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Israel. A total of 24 teams will play that are split into four groups. The best three teams at the end will get to go to the World Championship in 2025. Italy has already booked their place because they’re the reigning World Champions.

At the Men’s EuroVolley 2023, Ukraine will lock horns with Croatia in a Pool B preliminary match, taking place on August 31, 2023. Ukraine proceeded to the main draw of the CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2023 through reallocation by CEV. Meanwhile, Croatia reached the main stage after placing second, behind Greece, in the Pool E of the qualifications for the men’s EuroVolley 2023.
