The fifth FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League will be played on May 30th. International volleyball players compete in the Nations League each year. The competition will occur from May 30 to July 16, 2023. The pivotal round will take place at College Park Centre in Arlington, Texas, in the United States. In the Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL), the top 16 nations from four volleyball confederations will compete. It is one of the most prestigious indoor international competitions held by the FIVB, the body that oversees the sport. The final tournament roster was created following a few minor changes. Changes were made as a result of the 2022 Nations League and the 2022 Challenger Cup. Cuba, who made their debut in this competition, took the place of Australia.
The VNL 2023 women’s competition’s preliminary round consists of three weekly phases. The teams in the two pools are rotated each week to include all 16 teams. After three weeks of play, the championship round will be played between the top eight teams. During the pool round, there are 12 games played between each team. Eight teams will then participate in the competition’s final knockout round. The order of the knockout stages will be determined by the teams’ rankings following the conclusion of the preliminary round. Antalya, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Suwon, and Bangkok are among the locations where the preliminary rounds will be held. Before the start of the knockout rounds on July 2nd, the preliminary rounds will continue.
At the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League, Turkey and Serbia will face off on June 1, 2023. One of the top teams, Turkey, will face Serbia, another top contender. Serbia won the bronze medal last year defeating Turkey last year by 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 26-24). Serbia are the number one side in the world, while Turkey are World no.7.
