The Women’s World Championship 2022 is hosted in the Netherlands and Poland this year, and it will take place from 23rd September to 15th October.
Thailand had a tricky test awaiting them on the opening day in Turkey. There was not much to separate the two sides and it was clearly visible with the way the game unfolded. In a hard-fought contest, the Asian country prevailed 3-2 in the end. Since then they have been consistently producing quality performances, as Thailand finished second in Pool B with 10 points from five games. The same cannot be said for Germany, who have been struggling big time in the competition. The Europeans finished fourth in Pool C after managing seven points from five games.
