Pool C stands with the USA and Poland having three points each, while Bulgaria and Mexico are yet to open their accounts.
Co-hosts Poland will look to maintain their winning start to the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship when they face Mexico on Sunday night. These two teams were part of the opening day action and they both experienced contrasting results. While two-time defending champions, Poland started the tournament like one of the favourites with a convincing win, Mexico had to settle for a defeat. There is still time for Mexico to turn around the tide but they have a difficult test awaiting them in the upcoming clash.
Poland played the last match on Friday against Bulgaria. In an all-European clash, Poland comfortably won 3-0. Earlier on Friday, Mexico faced a difficult test against the United States of America. Mexico put up a brave fight but in the end, the USA were just too good on the night to register a 3-0 win. The Pool C stands with the USA and Poland having three points each, while Bulgaria and Mexico are yet to open their accounts.
