Japan hope to end their mini-losing streak when they face Belgium in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League clash. The Japanese women were the most in-form team in the competition for a long while before losing their way in the last few matches. They will be taking on a Belgium side struggling massively for form. The upcoming clash between the Asian and the European side will be a clash between two sides on a 3-game losing streak going head-to-head with each other.

In the preliminary round, 16 women’s teams will compete in pools of 8 teams under the revised format. During the pool stage, each team plays 12 matches. Eight teams will then advance to the competition’s final knockout round. The Finals will include the seven strongest teams, with the finals host – Turkey – entering the knockout round as the top-placed team. It will consist of eight matches in total – four quarterfinals, two semi-finals, and bronze and gold medal matches.
