Jamahal Hill was born on May 19, 1991. He is a trained mixed martial artist from the United States. He is the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and fights in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Hill began his professional career in 2017, and in his first five fights, he went 5-0, with four of them taking place under the KnockOut Promotions brand. The fight was won by Jamahal Hill in the second round via TKO. Hill suffered his first career loss at UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori II at the hands of Paul Craig. Hill was then rescheduled to headline UFC 283 on January 21, 2023, where he would have faced Glover Teixeira for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. He was the first graduate of Dana White’s Contender Series to win a UFC championship after winning the fight and the belt by unanimous decision. He won the Fight of the Night prize for this battle.
