Former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier has sent out a warning for his upcoming opponent Michael Chandler. Poirier will take on Chandler at the upcoming UFC 281 event this weekend in a highly anticipated three-round fight.

There has been a lot of hype going into this fight as both fighters have outstanding striking which makes for a perfect slugfest. Michael Chandler has shown on many occasions that he’s looking for the finish. However, that has also left him exposed on many occasions.

Speaking about Michael Chandler’s fighting style during an interview with Daniel Cormier, Dustin Poirier has claimed that Chandler should leave behind his “tough guy” mindset if he wants a chance to win. He said: “If he comes out there with a tough guy mindset, let’s his n*ts hang, hands down, I’m gonna out tough you. I’m gonna clean him up, I promise you. If he doesn’t wrestle, if he does kickbox with me, he’s got to be cleaner than he was when he did it with Gaethje.”
