Max Holloway will be targeted by Alexander Volkanovski frequently and early. The third instalment of Volkanovski and Holloway’s trilogy will take place in the co-main event of UFC 276. Even though Volkanovski prevailed in both of the prior contests, the second victory was determined by a split decision, necessitating a third round of review. Volkanovski thinks the key to make a statement in the trilogy battle is to challenge Holloway’s chin.

Volkanovski said at media day, “That would be incredible. It’s a legendary chin that he has. I’ve always said, ‘you don’t want to be known for your granite chin,’ but at the same time, it is legendary at the moment. And if I could take that chin and put him out, that would really be sending a statement because no one has done that. But again, he obviously takes damage, and I’ve touched on the fact that it can’t hold up forever, so let’s see if it holds up this time.”

Max Holloway wants to end Alexander Volkanovski fast

Max Holloway has pledged to stop it in the first three rounds, despite the fact that the prior two fights went the full distance. Meanwhile, Alexander Volkanovski is certain that he will be the one to terminate the contest since he feels Holloway’s chin can no longer be that strong.Volkanovski said, “I want to end it and end it early, and I think I definitely can. And again, I feel like that chin has to go soon. That’s no disrespect to him, but it’s got to go soon. I know I’m landing on it and landed on it big many times. We’ll see what happens. But if it ends inside the three, that’s me getting the finish.” Volkanovski would become one of, if not the finest featherweight ever, if he does defeat Holloway at UFC 276.
