Undoubtedly, UFC 284 was a tremendous event that included many thrilling and challenging fights as well as some controversy that sparked the normal discussion that occurs after fights of this caliber. Fans of the UFC are aware that one of the organization’s primary and ongoing issues is its judging system, which regularly declares the fighter as the winner despite being comprehensively defeated in the match, startling the globe.

Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovsk controversy

Similarly, there is a lot of debate on the internet about the fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev because the results surprised many people after the fight, and many individuals, including the featherweight champion, thought he had won. In the meantime, adult entertainer Kendra Lust unites the conversation and weighs in on MMA judging and scoring.

Lust is a big UFC fan

If you didn’t already know, Kendra Lust is a major fan of MMA sports. She frequently offers her opinions on the battles and even finances bare-knuckle fighters. Additionally, she has been seen attending and watching fights at the UFC stadium, which clearly illustrates how much she enjoys this game. She contributes her voice and offers her viewpoint, just like the UFC 284 main event verdict is the focus of much debate.

The Tweet

Joe Anik tweeted “Not usually a proponent of watching a fight back for purposes of scoring or re-scoring it but that is what I’m doing this morning. I thought Islam Makhachev won 48-47 whilst watching live, but of course I got a lot of sh*t going on. Close fight either way; want to see it again…”

Since Kendra doesn’t think that keeping an opponent down when they are lying on the ground, performing nothing more than maintaining position, and doing no damage should score as a victory or being busier than one, scoring must change, she claims.

Fans storm the internet

In fact, UFC supporters flooded social media to declare it a heist as soon as the verdict was made public. What Lust said has been the subject of ongoing debate within the UFC, and events like these unavoidably bring it up once more. Therefore, UFC needs to change some scoring procedures in order to stop this from happening and from giving the impression that the sport is biased against specific fighters.

Concerns concerning the MMA scoring system have been expressed in light of the Volkanovski vs. Makhachev battle. Judges are meant to focus their attention on the damage. Having said that, there were some occasions where Makhachev was in a strong position but didn’t do much harm. However, the Russian deserved to win and shouldn’t have been made fun of for it.
