UFC has become the top organization when it comes to combat sports. No one in the business is getting that many PPVs or recognition UFC currently holds. The biggest reason without any doubt would be Conor McGregor coming in and changing the business and becoming a star. Also, many would agree that before McGregor came to work for White, the organization wasn’t that big nor did they used to get many PPVs. In every Conor McGregor fight, the organization has sold more than a million PPVs. Here’s a list of the top UFC pay-per-view events of all time, sorted by pay-per-view buys.

UFC 100: Lesnar vs. Mir II: 1,600,000 PPV Buys – $82 million

Lesnar faced Frank Mir in the main event of UFC 100, looking to avenge his defeat in his first UFC fight. George St Pierre fought Thiago Alves, and Michael Bisping fought Dan Henderson on this goliath evening. However, this was one of the most successful PPVs in UFC history, with over 1.6 million sales bringing nearly $80 million. Brock Lesnar was victorious in this battle. He won by knocking out Frank Mir in the second round.

UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor II: 1,650,000 PPV Buys – $90 million

Diaz and McGregor have always been on each other’s throats since they began to work in UFC. Without any doubt, this fight had many PPV buys but also, but both the stars were the biggest reason for such PPV sales. The fight happened in Nevada with both the men going all-out on each other and sharing blows, but both the men the match was over didn’t give up and kept fighting, giving the audience a show which helped the organization get 1.65 Million PPV buys helping the organization earn over $90 Million. Diaz lost the fight but brought the organization a large viewership. Also, whenever Mcgregor fights, Dana White knows it’s money.

UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor: 2,400,000 PPV Buys – $180 million

Finally, Khabib Nurmagomedov defended his UFC Lightweight Championship against McGregor in the greatest PPV event in the organization’s history. It will be a long time before another tournament can match this enormous card. Never in the company’s history had any fight earned $100 Million plus. But Khabib vs McGregor gave the organization 2.4 Million PPV buys, which helped them earn a whopping $180 Million. This fight was won by Khabib tiring McGregor and in the fourth round won the match by making McGregor tap and submit.
