Mark Zuckerberg is the co-founder of Facebook and is now the head of Meta Platforms Inc. He has been making headlines in the combat sports world as he continues to train like a maniac. The highly anticipated between Zuckerberg and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has been a hot topic. UFC president Dana White actively promoted the idea and even sold t-shirts hyping the potential fight. While it remains uncertain whether the fight will ever materialize. Zuckerberg is leaving no stone unturned in preparing himself for the challenge.

Zuckerberg revealed some insights into his current training regimen and diet. He shared that he is training in MMA and jiu-jitsu four times a week in addition to strength and conditioning sessions. His dedication to his combat sports training is evident as he puts in the hard work to improve his skills and fitness levels.

Zuckerberg’s commitment to training is also reflected in his diet which involves consuming nearly twice as many calories as needed to maintain his weight. In one post, the official McDonald’s Threads account asked if he wanted anything from the fast-food chain to which Zuckerberg replied, “20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?”. UFC lightweight fighter Mike Davis chimed in reminding him that he’s in camp and shouldn’t indulge in McDonald’s. However, Zuckerberg explained that he’s not cutting weight. So he needs around 4000 calories a day to fuel his intense activity which he finds “delicious.”

The idea of a ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ between Zuckerberg and Musk has captured the imagination of fans worldwide. One of the major hurdles to making the fight happen is the significant weight difference between the two tech moguls. Zuckerberg recently competed in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) competition where the maximum weight for his division was 154.5 pounds. In contrast, Musk has been listed at around 200 pounds on various websites. This substantial difference in weight poses a challenge for any potential sanctioned cage fight.

Zuckerberg’s commitment to his training and the possibility of the fight being sanctioned by a recognized athletic commission keeps hope alive for fans. Both Zuckerberg and Musk have been known for their ambitious endeavors in the business world. A fight between the two would undoubtedly draw massive attention from fans and media alike. It would be a unique crossover event, blending the worlds of technology and combat sports.
